More reasons to respect Jess Mariano (and…as nearly always…hurt for him, too):
He didn’t fight Dean.
He didn’t tell Rory that Dean was threatening him…even when she wanted to be friends with him again.
He didn’t complain (before or after the black eye assumptions) over the fact that “‘…if I fight you, Rory’s gonna think it’s my fault.” She would take Dean’s word over his, despite the fact that Dean was the one going behind Rory’s back and threatening/stalking/trying to pick a fight with her boyfriend. He accepted being mistrusted and falsely accused. (He was used to it.)
Why did I used to like Dean, again? *closes eyes painfully and shakes head*
